How much does ShiftRx cost?
For Providers:
Signing up and using ShiftRx is 100% free. The only cost is a one-time background check fee of $19.99, which is reimbursed after you complete your first shift.
For Facility Owners:

This option is for owners who are looking to post part-time & full-time roles. We offer various subscription models which can be viewed under the "Billing" tab under Careers. ShiftRx is cheaper than other job boards and offers a direct network of vetted pharmacy professionals where you can set your requirements so you only get candidates that actually match your needs!
- PRN Shifts:
Posting PRN or per-diem shifts for last minute coverage gaps through ShiftRx is way more affordable than traditional staffing agencies. We are all about transparency. When posting shifts on ShiftRx, you will see the total amount you will owe BEFORE posting the shift. We do not charge you for the shift until the shift is completed.

Does ShiftRx have a referral program?
Providers:
Refer a friend to ShiftRx, and after their first shift, you'll earn $100 while they get $50 for each of their first three shifts.
Facilities:
You'll earn credits when your referred facility signs up, post a shift, or purchases a subscription. The referred facility receives shift posting credits and a discount on job board subscriptions.
What is ShiftRx Careers? How do I access it?
ShiftRx Careers is a job board designed to transform the way pharmacy professionals and facilities connect. We simplify hiring by offering robust job posting tools for part-time & full-time rolls, connecting facilities with verified pharmacy professionals from an extensive network, and accelerating hiring timelines. Facilities can set their qualifications when posting to ensure they get applicants who are fit their exact needs! Facilities can view their applicants, see their profile, resumes, etc and either accept or reject them. Accepting means you are able to message with that applicant and coordinate a time to interview them!
How does ShiftRx work for pharmacy professionals?
ShiftRx is the easy button for picking up shifts and finding full-time roles—without dealing with staffing agencies. Once you sign up and complete your profile, you can:
- Browse shifts posted by pharmacies in your area (or remote roles if that's your thing).
- Apply instantly—view the requirements, no recruiter games, just direct connections.
- Get hired & get paid. Facilities are notified when you apply, they will review your application and hire you directly.
You will be notified if you are approved for a shift! Make sure you update your notification preferences.

When will I receive pay? How do I get paid?
Once you complete your shift and the facility owner confirms your hours, your payment will be processed. You'll get paid through your stripe account – Typically, payments from Stripe for completed shifts are usually processed within 2 business days but it just depends on your bank! Payments are made via Stripe and can be tracked in your Earnings Dashboard.
Are there any prerequisites or qualifications required to apply for certain shifts?
Some shifts require specific licenses, certifications, or experience based on the facility's needs. When browsing shifts, you'll see any required qualifications listed upfront. If you meet them, you're good to apply. If not, you might want to check out other shifts or see if preferred (but not required) qualifications apply so you can still throw your hat in the ring.
Where is the facility located? Are there remote shifts?
ShiftRx offers a variety of shifts from on-site to remote in all specialties. You will see the facility location on a map before applying. It will specify if a shift is on-site or remote before you apply. Once you're accepted for a shift, all relevant details—including location, time, facility contacts, and any special instructions—will be accessible in your "Upcoming Shifts" tab.
How does ShiftRx's pay compare to other per diem jobs or staffing agencies?
We're cutting out the middleman (aka expensive staffing agencies) so facilities can find last minute coverage at a cheaper rate. ShiftRx offers competitive, transparent rates with no agency markups. Facilities set their own rates and can see the amount you will owe BEFORE posting. You have all the control. You decide who you want to hire and what you want to pay with ShiftRx!
How does ShiftRx ensure the quality and reliability of the temporary staff provided?
We don't just let anyone in the door. Every provider on ShiftRx is verified and background-checked to ensure they meet licensing and certification requirements for PRN shifts. Plus, facilities can rate and review providers after each shift, helping maintain a high standard of reliability and performance. If a provider isn't meeting expectations, you won't have to work with them again—our system prioritizes trusted professionals for your shifts.
What is the cancellation policy for providers?
We have ratings in place for providers and facilities. If a provider or facility cancels at the last minute, it will affect their rating on the platform. If a provider no-calls and/or no-shows, their account will be suspended. They will be able to request a review through ShiftRx to get the suspension removed.
